About Us - Our Journey
Our Story
iAspire2 CIC was founded in 2016 by Mick Amos, who brings over 26 years of professional experience across policing and education, including more than 11 years as a Police Officer and 15 years working within the education sector. Our organisation is supported by a dedicated committee and network of professionals with extensive lived and professional experience across policing, prisons, youth justice, education, banking and community services. This diverse expertise enables us to design and deliver programmes that address real community needs while creating positive opportunities for children, young people and families.
In 2023, iAspire2 became the 100th organisation to join Wakefield's Third Sector Framework and is also GAP registered within Kirklees, demonstrating our commitment to strong governance, accountability and quality assurance. We are proud partners of NOVA Wakefield and are a registered PIP (Partners Intelligence Portal) organisation with West Yorkshire Police, enabling us to work collaboratively with key stakeholders to support safer, stronger and more resilient communities.

Our Programs
We offer a variety of programs and services that promote sustainable living and environmental awareness. From community clean-up events to educational workshops, our programs are designed to inspire action and create change.
Our FOUNDER
Our founder, Mick Amos, was born and raised in a council house with 3 older sisters. After his parents separated, he lived with his dad.
Peer pressure could have meant that his journey in life would have been a bad experience. However, the choices he made enabled him to go to college, university and join the police service.
He now runs a business alongside iAspire2 CIC and works as a supporting artist on TV. Overcoming difficulty, making good choices and having a supportive network inspired Mick to give back to his community and support other people to aspire to be the best version of themselves.
